This is a fantastic CD and so simple to use, well written with need to know plant care information plus thousands of stunning photographs to identify what the plant looks like. There is even a section where you can find a garden style you would like to have and moving the mouse over the image and it identifies the plants. Very neat. It’s practical uses like this, plus being able to make your own plant list, which shows which plants you have in any given month and then select a month to see which of your plants needs pruning. No book or CD can do this, which make this CD unique.
The multi search functions are fast and easy. Find grasses or shrubs, autumn colour or flowering climbers. You can select a colour or plants that like shade, clay or any combination of any. It really is good
I’m so impressed with this CD that I want to tell others about it. You will not be disappointed. The CD is well thought out from the users point of view.
There are loads of useful ways to search for plant and narrows down the ones that I can grow in my garden.
I want to know when and how to prune my plants and it tells me that too with clearly drawn animated illustrations. I can make a picture record of the plants I’ve got by adding them to the calendar, and now know which plants to prune in each month. Books can tell me this too but it takes me ages to find the info, but this CD is so fast it’s even fun.
I use the ‘Add Notes’ a lot. My added notes stay attached to the plant and I can print them with the photos. I found some lovely Tulips on the CD, which my local Garden Centre didn’t stock however I found a specialist grower through the CD web link.
It’s a very neat and interesting CD and it’s a good chance my garden will be the same this season too.
