Each Ordnance Survey Explorer product from Memory-Map comes with our highly acclaimed navigation software for use on both PC and Pocket PC. These unique products also include Aerial Photographic maps of the same area to show all the terrain detail; a full 1:250,000 GB Road Map and a Search & Display Index of 250,000 names, places and map features.
Memory-Map is the only product range accredited by the Duke of Edinburgh Award as "The Recommended Route Planning Tool".
Memory-Map supports both Garmin and Magellan protocols for the transfer of waypoints, routes and track logs. Any GPS can be used for real-time positioning using the standard NMEA 0183 protocol or SiRF protocol. Support is also provided for the Navman range including the HP iPAQ GPS sleeve.

A very useful piece of kit - we used it to map a wood, together with a Garmin gpsmap60. Works excellently, though in the satellite mode, it is a few metres out to the east. Otherwise, we can now see exactly where we have been working and can plan where to go next. |
